It’s JUNE! A favorite month in Maine that will be really great this year because April and May stayed a little winterish.
At Swan Song Saltwater Farm we have celebrated the launch of our Plant Based Farmers Market that is held every week on Sunday afternoons. We are adding vendors every week but already have farm fresh vegetables, baked goods, soups and salads, Fancy Plants Food Truck, charcuterie, pottery and soy based candles. And of course, great music in the background. Think Yacht Rock 🙂
Maggie May studio cottage was open for tours on Memorial Day Weekend and we could not be happier with the feedback and enthusiastic ooos and ahhs. The dramatic and gorgeous bathrooms are a big surprise and then there is the bucolic view of the ocean over the Farm, stunning.
We have lots of special themes planned and will be having an open farm day later in the month where market customers will also be able to wander through the gardens and farm space.
Maggie May, Layla and Sweet Caroline are ready for summer bookings as is our retro Airstream, Daydream Believer. Closer to July the gatehouse, Dear Prudence, will be ready for bookings and offers three bedrooms ALL with ensuite bathrooms.
We have actually had frost warning the last two nights in Maine so most of the seedlings are still safe and sound in the greenhouse but we expect tomorrow to be the last cold day of the year and time to get summer started!
